We were delighted to visit Brookfields Special School to mark Autism Awareness Week 2018. We had a great day, with train layouts inside and out as the weather was so sunny. Classes came in to see us for 30 minutes each throughout the day, taking over the controls and building layouts.

Support Claire with her Three Peaks Challenge for The Engine Shed!
The lovely Claire Jones is doing the Three Peaks for The Engine Shed on 11 June! As we are a community group (not a registered charity) Berks Autistic Society /Autism Berkshire have kindly agreed to collect the funds and forward them to us.
Please support Claire and us with this epic challenge. We are very grateful to her for this incredible effort, not least because we couldn’t run for a bus (or indeed a train).
No Reading Session on Sat 28 May! But a great train event on Sun 29 May instead!
PLEASE NOTE – there will be NO ENGINE SHED SESSION in Reading on Sat 28 May. This is because there will be a free Autistic Pride event at Prospect Park railway on Sun 29 May from 11 am to 4pm. JJ, our train volunteer, hopes to be there with trains to play with (to go with the ride-on ones). Hope to see you there!
