The Engine Shed in Reading now has an adult group which is based around days out for adult members. This social group is for autistic adults, those with a learning disability and those without a diagnosis – you just need to enjoy trains! The club enables adults with an interest in trains to come together with their peers to observe, play, talk and enjoy their hobby with a welcoming community of peers. For many of our members, employment and voluntary positions are hard to find and there are few simulating and accessible recreational opportunities. Many group members attend with a carer.
